All books are loaded on display shelves in rolling metal cabinets and wire racks on wheels. It's a vertical fair with great eye appeal instead of a fair spread out on tables and in piles of boxes to unpack. The number of cabinets and/or racks depends on many factors and is worked out between our staff and the book fair chairperson. Most schools will receive a mixture of cabinets and racks, although some schools need all closing cabinets; and some have such large sales that they require many, many wire racks. Our desire is to deliver as much of a "turn-key" book fair as possible with ample selection and enough depth of inventory to serve your needs!

Rolling Wire Racks
Racks are modular and can accomodate 4 or 5 shelves per side. Both sides of the rack are loaded with books so you can get more inventory on a rack than standard rolling cabinets hold. Plus, all books, even hardbacks, are visible for shoppers to see.

Metal Display Cabinets on Wheels
Our metal display cabinets on wheels are compact size so the librarian can see over them to monitor the students during the book fair. Because they are compact size, they are easier for the librarian to roll if she decides to rearrange the book fair.

Cash Register on Loan Shopping Bags Provided
We loan each school a cash register to use during the book fair. Cash register is programmed with your sales tax rate. There are "tax" and "no tax" keys as well. Plastic shopping bags are provided at no charge for students to take home their purchases.

Delivery, Pickup and
Re-Stocking
We deliver your book fair in our own trucks with our own employees. Our drivers will roll the cabinets and rack into your library or sales area. We will park the cabinets and racks in place, then set up your cash register and the "fun things" trays. We will go over the operation of the cash register (it's easy to operate) and asnwer any questions we can. Usually, when we leave, you should be able to start selling right away. The delivery date is mutally arranged in advance and is usually sometime during the week before your sale. Pickup after the book fair is also done by our staff and the date is worked out either beforehand or during the book fair.
Daily Restocking is available in Texas: Fax your order to us by 3:00 pm CST and we'll either (1) deliver it the next morning with our own drivers (Houston metro area and some other metro areas of Texas); or (2) we will ship it that same day by UPS Ground Service or LSO Ground Service for delivery the next day in other areas of Texas (arrival time in those other areas depends on UPS and LSO and may not be until the next afternoon.)
Restocking for Table-Top Books Fairs /Books Fairs held outside Texas: Fax your order to us by 2:00 pm CST and we'll ship it out via UPS Ground Service. Depending on where your school is located in the US, it may take several days for the re-order to reach you. Instead, you might consider doing "Rainchecks" - keep track of any out-of-stock title a student has PAID for, and after the book fair ends, fax a list of those titles you still need. We will ship the rainchecks by UPS ground the following week.
